Object Name Medal, Overseas Service
Description A )Medal is a gold-colored Greek cross suspeneded from a light blue silk ribbon. Obverse- has a red enamel center with gold Serbian letters around the perimeter and in the center with a date of / 1912 / included. Reverse side has elements in red enamel in the center with a gold crowned, double headed eagle or gryphon image. Badly frayed faille ribbon is attached to medal's top loop with a jump ring. B) Wood case covered in dark red paper, simulating wood grain. Opens at top on rear hinges, with front metal thumb latch. Bottom of case is lined with maroon velvet and is indented to hold medal. Interior of lid is lined with padded red satin.
