Object Name Jacket
Description Enlisted man US cavalry uniform jacket. Dark blue wool; 12 frt buttons; 2 stand-up collar; 2-button sleeve cuff; yellow lace trim. Waist length w/pointed ctr frt/back. Fully lined in white wool flannel w/cotton muslin sleeve linings. Proper R/lining stamped w/black oval marked inside /I.HABER & CO/NEW YORK/5 NOV 64/. Stenciled /1/ above oval refers to std size. Collar trimmed w/2 mil buttons on each side; deep yellow worsted lace is different shade from that used on rest of jacket. 2 front buttons replaced w/gilt musician's lyre. 3 sleeve buttons are from Wisconsin.2 padded bolsters at back
